Youth Mediatraining for Employability & Environment

The media training “Youth Mediatraining for Employability & Environment” was held in Lublin(PL) with the objectives to deepen in competences and skills of youth workers who want to use media for the promotion of employability and environmental issues.

Focused on the theme „climate change and renewable energy” the 24 participants explore characteristics of active citizenship, and intercultural dialogue and will learn how these priorities can be creatively addressed by means of using modern digital media and Community Media.

They worked together in learning more about sustainability, about how Community Media works, how to produce short reports, street interviews and information clips about acute ecological issues for the Community Media and European Web-TV projects. These skills are important key competences and will intensely improve the employability of Youth.

They produced videos on the subject, they formed a web page and updated it with relevant information, and they also held 4 debates related with employability and environment, that were all broadcasted live through European Webtv. All the media products are available online.
