Little Did I Know!

Little did I know I would end up in Germany! I was quite sure I would flip through the middle facing a huge culture shock. But there had always been a little curiosity inside of me finding out about other cultures and exploring other places. So when destiny landed me to this internship programme at European Youth4Media Network sponsored by IFA (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen), I knew I had to go an extra mile and prove myself worthy of the opportunity. Today I speak to you all the way from Münster!

Perhaps, this alone trip to another country was unusually easy. It proved to be a fair learning experience. I had my own doubts but then it all mellowed down seeing how beautiful the city was and how friendly the residents were. Perhaps, every place has its own fascination and lush green roads and Münster's bicycles. The most noteworthy factor about the city and its residents would probably be their environment friendly contributions in order for making the city as clean, organized and close to nature as possible. I have been located to a nice apartment with calm and quiet ambiance which is quite a satisfaction itself.

With the help of IFA, I have found myself to be in the right direction. With Y4M's broad approach to media and broadcasting, I am most looking forward to learning and exploring new tools related to my field of expertise and making new connections which would help in the future too with my professional phase. The atmosphere in Y4M is friendly and productive. Also the colleagues are very helpful and are in full agreement to exchanging ideas, taking new initiatives and producing new content related to design and media. I believe this would help me to overcome the culture barrier and allow others to adapt to my presence and vice versa!

This Cross Cultural Internship would open up a whole different level of opportunities and connections for me. This is just the start, more is to follow! So let's get going! :)
