Situated in the north of Haltern am See, on the northern edge of Haltern-Synthen, a beautiful leisure oasis has been developed. A lake of Dülmen (German: Dülmener See) offers variety of activities such as bathing, surfing, sailing, paddling or just lying in the sun. There are also barbeque facilities and a campsite "Freizeitpark Dülmener See" opened all year round.
