Willkommen in Münster!

Youth4Media welcomed 3 Polish visitors in the frame of the series of study visits „European Quality of Public Policies” between 15-19th May 2017, in Münster.

The guests - representatives of several non-governmental organisations based in Poland – had 5 days to discover different kind of approaches in the field of culture and youth work, seek for cooperation possibilities and learn about new funding opportunities. After getting to know each other a little bit, the visitors received information about the venue of the activity, the Citizens Centre Bennohaus and its different departments. Max Hafemann and Timo Matzolleck presented the pedagogical department „Mediending” and its colourful educational offers for children. The guests were informed about the funding of citizens media in Germany and its actual implementation at „MNSTR.medien” by Jan Leye. Manager of the hosting organisation, Agnes Horvath, presented the main aims and activities of the „European Youth4Media Network”. The visitors participated in an Erasmus+ workshop as well, to discover funding opportunities for their projects. Besides the previously mentioned European programme, useful websites have been introduced too, such as:

SALTO-Youth: For finding training opportunities and partners for future cooperation.

Educational Tools Portal: To widen the toolbox of youth workers.

The guests visited the local Volunteers’ Centre and discovered the main „chill-out zone” of Münster, the Hafen area as well.
