Basketball Dream

Hello, my name is Calud Ionut Adrian and I am from Bucharest the capital of Romania. I am 24 years old and I live wild, free and happy in my own way and style. I have been in an EVS project in Poland and it was the best experience for me till now and if I ever have another opportunity to experience again this feeling I will do it because it was a new feeling and I would love to live it again.

I am that kind of person who likes to laugh, smile, party, get to know about everything which is new, to make new friends, to meet different people with different minds from whom I can learn something in my life and to accomplish something in my life. I like to dance, sing, eat at every hour especially chocolate, to play in a theatre, to travel, to walk in the park especially at night. I love music because it's a part of me.

Apart from all of these I have a passion which is to play basketball. There's nothing else that makes me happy than when I play this sport. I started a few years ago when I went with a friend of mine at his club where he was training and from that day I've been interested in basketball. So, I became a member of this club, a member of the team but after 2-3 years I stopped because the problems in my life appeared and disturbed me. I wasn't the member of anymore but the important thing is that I didn't stop playing, going in the park with friends and have fun playing some basketball. After my parents divorced I moved at my aunt in a small city to finish the high school and there I joined the school team which was so far my best day. In that period I was going through a tough situation and the only thing which made me forget about it was this sport. Going for the train everyday and playing with my pals was everything I wanted then. At that time we had to play in the High School Championship by playing with every high school from the city and it was hard but we gave everything - we had to win, training hard till we will remain without energy. And we did it - we won and the thing is that when you defeat all high schools, you go for a tournament in other city and there we lost but I took it as a lesson. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. This didn't make me stop so I continued playing just for fun and to relax myself because this is my medicine for anger, stress, sadness, etc.

I live my dream even that I am not an NBA player but the amazing thing is that it's making me happy and that's all which matters. If you have a dream, protect it, don't let anyone to tell you that you cannot because you can. My last words... don't regret nothing in life, do what makes you happy and don't waste the time because it is precious. Peace and Love!!!
