Polish guests at Youth4Media

In the frame of a long-term cooperation initiated by SPLOT, the „European Quality of Public Policies”, Youth4Media is hosting 4 study visit groups from Poland until the end of June 2017. The first group arrived on 5th December 2016, to get a clear overview of German supporting systems for NGOs and best practices running in Münster.

The group of 4 (Adam Poholski, Urszula Olszowska, Malgorzata Holubiec und Anna Czajkowska), representatives of the non-governmental organisations, EuroJumelages and CWOP, were hosted by Youth4Media and guided by project manager, Ms Agnes Horvath. The guests spent a whole day in the Citizens Centre Bennohaus, where they were welcomed by Mr Joachim Musholt, the managing director of the institution. Mr Musholt gave a summary about the history of the house and the professional development of its different departments. Ms Sevál Kocaman guided the guests in the labyrinth of qualificational systems in Germany and introduced the successful cooperation possibilities between Bennohaus and other pedagogical organisations in the city. Mr Jan Leye gave an interactive presentation about MNSTR.medien, mentioning the different volunteering and internships schemes for young people interested in digital media productions. The guests took part in an Erasmus+ funding workhop, where other funding possibilities were also mentioned. Youth4Media is glad to cooperate with the Volunteers’ Agency (Freiwilligenagentur) in Münster, where Ms Martina Kreimann presented a wide variety of volunteering opportunities with/for youngsters and seniors alike. Besides receiving all these previously mentioned information and inspiration for their own organisations, as our guests arrived in the most charming time of the year to Münster, they spent many evenings at the Christmas Markets of the city as well.

We were very happy to meet such lovely visitors at Youth4Media and we are eager to guide the next 3 groups in 2017. See you in Münster!
