Ruben Perez Montoro

Our media camp is running. After the lectures with dr. Serge Embacher from BBE we splited into 3 group: video report, short movie and PR (making of). Youth4Media would like to introduce you one of our participants Ruben Perez Montoro:

My name is Ruben, I´m from Malaga, the city that is located in the south of Spain.

I have studied Audiovisual Comunication. I also attended some courses about the sound and video recording. I really enjoyed and I was looking for another trainings. I found out about the Team Up from my friend‘s Facebook annoncement. I thaught that it can be a good opportuniy to improve my skills and knowledge. I am trying to be active in our local radio. I prepare some programs about solidarity, civic engagement, voluntary work and citizen comunication.

Furthemore, I have made a lot of shorts movies as a member of an audiovisual asociation where we make reports, interviews and films screenings. In my free time I practice Aikido and Kendo, these are sports from Japan, I love the culture, philosophy and art of that country. I even try to learn Japanesee. When I arrived to Germany I met some youngsters with the same interest as me. On the first day, we attend a lectures about civic engagement, NGOs and volunteering.

Finally, after dividing into the groups I have to work in a PR (making of movie). I hope that it will be a very good experience.
