Team Up - Return to Nasutów

At 23rd of March the participants from Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Germany and Denmark have come to Nasutów, Poland to share their thoughts about cultural divercity.

Not short after their arrival they already started learning about the technical and practical aspects of film-making. Excited to try their skills in digital media they grabbed the equipment and started practicing their skills. The proffesional team of trainers: Daria, Stephan and Agnieszka described the process to their groups and found their passion inspiring. All participants got a crash-course in the basic and advanced camera function overview  led by Stephan Kuhlmann and got to brain-storm on the topic of their media camp. They also learned the pedagogical know-how conveyed by Daria Jaranowska as well as how to record audio and take perfect shots while filming thanks to Agnieszka Sygacz.

Before that they had a chance to walk around the picturesque area near the Nasutów House and see the marvelous European House of Meetings know for its peaceful atmosphere and lushious green surroundings. After getting acquainted with the location and learning about their topics they could taste the local cuisine, like the cabbage-based Bigos, meat-filled pierogi, the red and tasty tomato soup and of course the polish pork-chop. Noone thought of leaving anything on their plates. The accomodation also was prepared so they could relax and re-gain their energy while also interacting as well as integrate while talking and laughing. Though the climate was different from their home countries they quickly adapted to the quite chilly living conditions and even took the time for a short excursion to the forest and taking their photograph-taking skills to the challenge.

The first day of the camp finished too fast for almost all the participants as they still felt the buzz of creative film-making in their heads. That is why the echoes of their conversation bounced in the evening air long after they stopped talking and could enjoy the comforts of their bed covers and prepare for the following day which will have more challenges waiting for them. Let's wish them good luck and hope that the final movies made in the media-camp will fill them with pride.
