Tomasz Siejka

Our media camp is running. After the lectures with dr. Serge Embacher from BBE we splited into 3 group: video report, short movie and PR (making of). Youth4Media would like to introduce you one of our participants:

My name is Tomasz Siejka. I’m 22 years old. I was born in Lublin. This is a city in the east side of Poland.

In the free time I exercise on the gym, design websites and spend time with my girlfriend and friends. I run a few blogs about acne and fast foods. You can say that I’m a local fast foods critic. I’ve eaten in almost every fast food bar in Lublin. This is my hobby. I’ve got more than 900 fans on mine blog fanpage on Facebook so I think that people like what I write and think about specific locals.

I’m a student. I study Management on Lublin University of Technology. I’m also a volunteer in Nowy Staw Foundation. There I’m involved in Youth Initiative with the other volunteers. We worked on the film about ways of remembrance of the First World War in Lublin. I had an opportunity to get more informations about history of my city on that time and also to get to know about camera and editing. I’m interested in NGO’s and media. Since I’m a volunteer I want to know more and more about NGO’s, civic engagement and media. And that’s the reason why I joined Team UP Media Camp in Muenster. I think that the training program is very interesting and I can improve my skills and learn new things. It’s also a possibility for me to meet people from all over the Europe who are interested in the same things as I am and hear what they think about our common topics.
