My Yerevan, unexpected discovery

On my way to Lake Sevan I had a chance to see Armenia different than its capital. What attracted my attention most were stones. Stones sprouting from Caucasian soil and those scattered carelessly here and there. I guess each of us is such a stone. Hundreds of thousands of stones make a mountain, a certain whole. However, even a single stone can initiate an avalanche and destroy this whole structure finely formed for thousands of years.

You and me are such stones. Set in motion in a proper way we can change a lot. I know this is a dirt-cheap analogy. But it is true.

Where is the clue? Who can set these stones in motion?

Before I went to Armenia, I did not think I would meet so many interesting people. I did not think much about this trip. And it was right, I guess, as I was positively surprised.

Each country carries for me a face of specific people. Each country is a specific name and forename, specific date of birth, character, smile, eyes, hair, colour of skin. Each country is a different handshake, different walk, manner of talking, tone of voice. Different music. Now, after ten days spent here, I have my new Spain, new Germany, new Georgia and a totally new Armenia.

This is the biggest and unexpected discovery. People, thanks to whom it was all possible. People- stones who were gathered here from various parts of Europe. Set in motion, they can achieve so much. Scattered carelessly here and there they will only fade in the sun and be eroded by the rain.

I am deeply convinced that now I have everything I wanted to achieve here. I have discovered something new, I have learnt something for myself. I found my goal and my inspiration. Have you fund it yourself either? Have you got the right strength to set other stones in motion? Have you got proper experience to change something? Have you been inspired by someone to be able to do something for him?

Maybe you will tell your friends about Yerevan. Maybe you will keep Polish rose in your mind. Maybe you will invite to your country. Maybe writing your another article you will also consider a different point of view. Maybe you will go abroad to meet, discover and draw from others. Maybe south-eastern part of Europe will no longer will be a terra incognita to you.

Maybe once we will be together again?
