ICMA 2017 - the winning video

Film makers and active participants in the field of non-commercial media have been awarded for their work during the International Citizen Media Award ceremony on Saturday 6th of May. The prize was presented by the Bennohaus and the ”European Youth4Media Network e.V.“ in cooperation with "Open Channels for Europe". The categories were audio and video.

This year the topic was “Cultural Heritage – The memory of our past, the key to our future”. The Philippine Breech Asher Haraini emerged as the winner of the category video. He was able to convince the jury to a combination of a video and a cartoon about the difficulties of a young Muslim living in a western society.
