Project meeting in Malta

Involving people with migrant background and locals through workshops and a board game – under this motto the second meeting of the project ‘MYgrant METAMORPHOSIS' (MGM) took place in Sliema, Malta (25-26.03.2019). Partner organizations were discussing what has already been done and summarizing future tasks.

After a successful kick-off meeting in Münster, project partners met together in Malta. That was a great opportunity to talk about the outcomes which are supposed to be developed within the MGM project. The project leader – Bürgerhaus Bennohaus – firstly focused on the product number 1 – an e-book for the youth workers. This should be a collection of workshop scenarios, which can be used by the youth workers at work with migrants. All the scenarios are using art and media as working methods. Now the main task is to put the materials together and design a coherent e-book.

Partners also discussed details of the second MGM product – an e-learning platform. On this website, all materials from the e-book will be developed in a multimedial way. Therefore, each partner did a brainstorming and presented some ideas for their workshops scenarios. The e-learning platform will be integrated within the project’s website. This one you can already visit under https://mygrant.world/

The second day of the meeting was mainly dedicated to the third MGM product – a board game. PGP, a partner from Poland responsible for the creation of the game, presented two proposals of the game. All the partners had a closer look at the game rules and tested them. After a detailed evaluation, it was agreed that the second version of the game will be further developed.

The next opportunity for MGM partners to meet will be the Joint Staff Training in December in Italy. Together with the youth workers, they will test the implementation of the MGM project.

MYgrant METAMORPHOSIS is supported by the Erasmus + program of the European Union.
