Aktion - Mein Stadtteil

Aktion – Mein Stadtteil  (Action – My District) is a project run by AKO Bürgerhaus Bennohaus in Münster, Germany. The main purpose of the project is to develop the active and positive integration culture between migrants and the native inhabitants of Münster. This is possible mainly thanks to the regular dialogue and common activities.

The project started in September 2016 and will last till the end of August 2019. In this period of time, Bürgerhaus Bennohaus tries to improve the intercultural skills of the inhabitants of Münster, discuss about the acceptation and tolerance among youth through the reflection on the personal stories, identity and new perspectives.

There are several activities planned:

  1. Intercultural Summer Event in Bennohaus (09.07.2017)
  2. Getting to know the city actions (QR-code run, Halloween parties, etc.)
  3. Summer camp for children
  4. Video portraits
  5. Intercultural training
  6. Round table with local organizations
  7. Networking
  8. Life shows: Intercult, Kultur am Kanal

The project is supported by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees
