International Chernobyl Disaster Remembrance Day

The explosion in Chernobyl, Ukraine turned out to be a catastrophe which affected the lives of Europeans. April, 26 is International Chernobyl Disaster Remembrance Day.

Even though it has been 30 years since the tragedy, its effects are still noticeable.

Unfortunately, it was not possible to avoid another catastrophe which took place in Fuchushima, Japan.

Let's
hope, it was the last tragedy of such scale. To avoid similar accidents, conclusions must be drawn from the past and taken into consideration in current energy policy.
