Association “Renasterea Botosaneana”

The Association “Renasterea Botosaneana” is an independent organization (NGO) for youth, non-formal education, and local development, working on voluntarily basis situated in Botosani, a town in the North East part of Romania. Our association is guiding itself by the principle that the new generation can built a new future for our country.

The Association “Renasterea Botosaneana” is a dynamic organization aimed at promoting both social and economic development within the context of cultural realities in Romania. We aim to do this by:

promoting the value of genuine democracy;

providing assistance for the local youth including those from the surrounding rural communities;

establishing efficient strategies towards local and regional development;

contributing to the European integration of our townby means of multicultural projects;

encouraging youth exchanges;

establishing / taking part in international educational projects;

being a member of the “European youth4media network e.v.”, an European association aimed at developing existing partnerships in the area of participative youth media work in order to create a stable and sustainable network of non-commercial media, cultural and educational institutions.

Since 1999, our NGO has been involved in transnational youth projects within the context of Youth in Action Programme.

Then, in order to develop our activities, we have joined a European organization called “European Youth4Media Network e.V.” (www.youth4media.eu and www.europeanweb.tv) that aims at involving young people in civic activities by using media.

We also used to be an accredited organization for the European Voluntary Service within the frame of the European Commission’s “Youth in Action” Programme: EVS Hosting Organization, EVS Co-ordinating Organization, EVS Sending Organization. That accreditation expired in October 2013, but we are planning to renew it.

Within the context described above, we directly and effectively involved a total number of more than 1,000 young people and about 30 institutions/ organizations working in different countries throughout Europe, ex-Soviet Union states, ex-Yugoslavia states, the Middle East, and Northern Africa.

The youngsters and organization we have worked and work with are involved in activities around the themes of media and communications (e.g. web site constructing, programming, video productions, web TV channels live transmissions, etc.), organizing public events, debates, antidiscrimination campaigns, personal development, volunteering, etc.

Thus, we are in permanent contact and working with skilled and resourceful young people and active organizations.

As a consequence, in the perspective of cooperating with your organization, we can recruit talented young people on purpose of further partnership project for both sides benefit.
