European Dialogue

NGO “European Dialogue” was founded in 1998. In the course of 15 years of our activities we went through several stages in our development. We started as recievers of innovation programs and now we produce innovations ourselves and implement them with the help of local, foreign and international organizations. In the last several years we became a sort of resource center supporting development of citizens’ initiatives on the local level. From the very beginning we have been paying significant attention to European experience and its implementation in Ukraine with the special focus on introducing European standards in the work of Ukrainian institutions in the fields of ecology, education, local self-government, community development, social work and recently also energy saving. Being pro-European oriented and supporting European integration of our country we have come to the new understanding of our mission, which we see now as implementing European standards in different spheres of social and public life, exchange of experience and cooperation on international, national, regional and local levels for the sake of realization of Ukraine's European choice.

European Dialogue acts as service, consulting and training center for civil society organizations and local governance institutions. Organization's activities center around the following aspects:

Development of local self-government and local initiatives;

European integration;

Implementation of programs of European/informal education;

Network cooperation and organization of intercultural dialogue.

·      
Environmental protection and energy saving;

·      
New educational technologies and youth exchanges;

·      
Intercultural dialogue and preservation of cultural and historical heritage.

“European Dialogue” has successfully implemented 80 projects at different fields, including international, national, regional and local ones, 30 of which have been carried out in the course of the last 5 years.
